
Tony Perkins is a pioneering media entrepreneur and a prominent opinion leader in the technology business and investment editorial world. He founded Red Herring in 1993, and the AlwaysOn Network, his current venture, in 2002. In 1999, Tony co-wrote The Internet Bubble, an international bestseller that forewarned the dot-com bust. Tony’s public activities include serving on President George W. Bush's Information Technology Advisory Council. He co-founded and chaired Silicon Valley's premier business and technology forum, the Churchill Club in Palo Alto, California. In 2005, Tony founded GoingOn Networks, a professional web publishing and community management software service company.

Dan Leary is a Partner at the Bay Area civil engineering firm of Bellecci & Associates, located in Concord and Pleasanton. He is Principal-in-Charge of public infrastructure projects for Bellecci & Associates, a company which has 27 engineers, surveyors and technicians. Dan received his Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and an MBA in Management from Cal State Hayward. Over the past 20 years, Dan has managed more than 600 public works projects throughout northern California; including major highway, utility, city and university improvement projects.

Steven Justice has taught since 1987 at UC Berkeley, where he is Professor of English, Director of Program in Medieval Studies, and Director of the Program in Religious Studies. He graduated summa cum laude from Yale, and received his PhD from Princeton. His field is medieval literary history; he has held major fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Princeton University, and the Stanford Humanities Center

Chris has more than 23 years of experience in large transportation operations and planning projects. Many of these findings have been published in reports and for conference materials. He also serves in the City of Hayward Planning Commission for the past eight years (as Chair person in 2006) and is a question writer for the traffic-engineering portion of the professional engineer’s exam for the Professional Engineers Board.
He is a registered Traffic Engineer and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners. He holds an M.S. in Transportation/ Infrastructure Planning and Management from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Alex Saldanha a serial entrepreneur and currently Chief Technology Officer at Exponential Inc, a technology-driven media services company. He received his Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology - Madras, and a PhD. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
In 1993, he co-founded Cadence Berkeley Labs where he worked on the research and development of technologies related to Computer Aided Design of Integrated Circuits. He also co-founded Softface, Inc. in 1998 where he served first as CEO, then as CTO until 2001. Softface was recognized as a software leader for Spending Analysis, and was acquired by Ariba, Inc. in 2004. Alex was nominated in 2004 as a Pro-to-Know by Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine.
Alex has over 50 publications in journals and conferences and has received a best paper award at the VLSI Design Conference. He holds ten patents.

Van Bibber is Chief Scientist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, currently serving in the Physical Sciences Directorate. He was recently elected vice chair of the American Physical Society’s California Section.
Karl received BS degrees in physics and mathematics from MIT and his Ph.D. in physics from MIT. He completed post-doctoral studies in nuclear sciences at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.He was an associate professor of physics at Stanford University from 1980–85.
Van Bibber has published more than 100 research articles in scientific journals and had an endowment created in his name at Stanford by an anonymous industrialist. The first two Karl van Bibber Physics Postdoctoral Research Fellows were announced in 2007.

Dr. Dizon was born in Vietnam and raised in the Philippines. Immigrating into the U.S. after high school, he received his undergraduate and medical school degrees from the University of California at Davis. He then finished his residency in internal medicine at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland.
In 2002, Dizon joined the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program as clinic director in internal medicine. Six months later, he was promoted to medical director of ambulatory care for the entire hospital. Currently, he oversees 14 primary and specialty care clinics at the University Medical Center and throughout Fresno county, with a total of 180,000 outpatient visits a year.
Dominic is among the core faculty at UCSF Fresno and carries the appointment of health sciences assistant clinical professor of medicine. He currently has 3 original UCSF research projects going on locally, which deal with tuberculosis and cultural competence, his special areas of interest.

Nejman graduated with honors from Harvard University in 2003, with a BA in Anthropology and Entrepreneurship. In college, Joe played as a starter on the Men's Varsity Lacrosse team for two years. Upon graduation, he founded JJ Chill, a restaurant and food service company in Los Angeles. In 2006, Joe joined a $1 billion hedge fund as a research associate, and later moved to Google, where he develops strategic partnerships. Still working at Google, Joe is also starting his own company to help celebrities better manage their brands in the age of Facebook and YouTube.
